Job Location:

Ahmedabad/Vadodara, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, and Coimbatore.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Sales/Senior Sales Executive to promote and sell general laboratory instruments in the assigned territory. The role involves identifying potential clients, maintaining strong relationships, achieving sales targets, and providing product-related guidance to customers across various industries and research institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Target Achievement:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for general laboratory instruments.
  • Identify new business opportunities across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, academic research, and industrial laboratories.
  • Implement tailored sales strategies to effectively meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.

2. Lead Generation & Customer Interaction:

  • Identify leads through market visits, networking, and outreach efforts such as cold calls and referrals.
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide timely follow-ups on inquiries and ensure successful deal closures.

3. Market Coverage:

  • Conduct regular field visits to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Explore and develop new market opportunities for increased product visibility and sales growth.

4. Product Knowledge & Support:

  • Develop a deep understanding of general laboratory instruments, their features, and applications.
  • Effectively explain product benefits to clients, addressing both technical and non-technical concerns.
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to provide demonstrations, installations, and after-sales support.

5. Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market insights.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance and client feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (preferred fields: Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Biotechnology).

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, or similar industries.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present technical solutions effectively.
  • Target-oriented with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Basic technical knowledge of laboratory instruments or scientific equipment.

Travel:

  • Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet clients and drive business development.
